What exactly love language is?
Love language is a way to show that you care or you love someone, it also can be something you want to receive from your lovers. Most of the time, you'll show other people your love language by treating them the way you want to be treated when you're in a romantic relationship.
People get their love language by something they didn't really receive when they're younger, or something they received a lot when they were kids. There are five love languages that people can express their love with, those five are physical touch, quality time, words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gift.
Physical Touch
Sometimes, people misunderstood this love language as needy or in a sexual way, in fact, physical touch requires holding hands, hug, cuddle, hair rubbing, and many other simple affection. People with this love language feel safe when they can get their hug as home especially when they're not in the best mood.
Quality Time
People with this love language love to spent time together as a way to show love or to realize that someone love them. They might love adventure as quality time, or as simple as watching movie together. No matter where or what did you guys do, the point is doing it together. But it might be a point plus if you know what kind of quality time they prefer.
Word of Affirmation
It's about reassuring, and appreciating. They love when you appreciate every little things they did, they also love when they get reassuring they need when they're in not so easy pace. Complimenting might be a point plus for some people, as simple as complimenting how they look today, or they smells good. Paying attention when they're telling you stories and giving a nice respond about that.
Act of Service
Personally, this is my love language so I will really love to explain everything about act of service for me. First clue? Don't bother to talk to much, do not giving permission that you will help them or give them something, or take them to somewhere special, cause when you did, it's not even that special anymore. It feels like a plan, not a surprise or a direct service thing. But it's important to know their time, what they like, because it's risky we all know. If you thing act of service is hard or impossible, you're getting a massive wrongness of mindset. As simple as opened the door, opened the car, holding their bags when they brought a lot of them, opened their straw, throwing their trash when they're busy. They'll know they love you when they help you out, without you really ask, that means you understand them and they appreciate you for that!
Receiving Gifts
No, it's not all about expensive things, it's about your effort making or buying those gifts. They would appreciate it, even your gifts are just as simple as love letter, or a small cake, little things they like and you gave them frequently.
